I think if we think about it; the above picture tells us a lot. First sign of trouble, the sinners, or well...those that don't feel like congregating for whatever reason...see impending danger- Go seek out a church, or at least someone who can tell them what's going on.
However, the Christian, the passive and or charismatic Christian sees the same sign- He or she turns to the drink...or at least something to take their mind off of what they know is coming. The professing Christian seeks to mind the things of the world....embracing fear........ some of them. It says a lot about how the balance of scales have shifted.
* Sometimes it takes a good jolt for some of us to wake up and realize this is no time to sit and be so heavenly minded being no earthly good, or to suck down fire water to alleviate your seemingly worldly woes you constantly meditate on. Man! This picture says many things. Please watch it over and over and ask yourself- which one if any would you be in.
