The longer I’m in the ministry of teaching about the supernatural, the more people tell me that their church just refuses to touch the subject of UFOs and alien abduction. That may not seem like much of a problem to most Christians, but what about those Christians seeking legitimate answers? The most common questions that I’ve received from Christians are the following:
-Are aliens/UFOs real?
-Are aliens/UFOs demonic?
-What does the Bible say about aliens/UFOs?
-How do I stop alien visitations?
What if I think I have been/am being abducted?
Where are these people supposed to turn when they can’t discuss the strange lights in the sky, missing time, strange dreams, or supernatural encounters, with their pastor? The only place they can turn is to the secular world that is all too ready to preach the Alien Gospel to them via shows like Ancient Aliens.
The startling fact is that over 90% of the people surveyed say that their pastors will not touch the subject. If we apply that number to a real life situation, it means that 9 out of 10 pastors are IGNORING the spiritual needs people in their flock.
Pastors are leaders, but 100% of the blame is not on them. Many churchgoers that I’ve talked to are either afraid to bring up the subject or simply don’t know how. Some of the pastors that I’ve talked to don’t know how to present the information to their congregation, so they just don’t. That’s a problem, but I want to help both groups solve that problem. Below, I’m going to tell you how you can present this topic to your pastor, and if you’re a pastor, I’m going to show you how you can present this topic to your congregation. Before I do that, I want to help you understand exactly why this topic is of any importance at all.
Why Is This Subject Important To Christians?
The answer to this question is simple. The subject of UFOs and Alien abduction is directly related to Biblical events in the past, and is also directly related to future Bible prophecy. As Christians we believe we have an enemy known as Satan. However, he has many fallen angels and demons at his disposal, and their goal is the mass deception of mankind. If you want to stop a tree from growing, you don’t start cutting at the top and go down, you destroy the root so that it cannot grow. So what is the root of the UFO deception?
The Root of The Alien and UFO Deception
The deception that is digging at the roots of the church is the Sethite View of Genesis 6. Most pastors have no idea that the Catholic Church forced this belief on Christians around the 3rd century A.D., under penalty of death. That effectively shut down the original theory that had been taught for most of human history.
The Sethite Theory teaches that the sons of God (Genesis 6:1-4) are really the sons of Seth and the daughters of men are really the daughters of Cain. However, the words Seth and Cain do not appear anywhere in the Genesis 6 text. It is the alternative, original view of this scripture that makes most Christians uncomfortable. The original view was that angels, known as the Watchers, came down and had abducted human women for the purpose of producing hybrid offspring.
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” – Genesis 6:1-4
UFOs and Alien abductions have nothing to do with little green or grey men from space. In fact, it has nothing to do with actual aliens at all. It has everything to do with what was going on in Genesis 6, according to Jesus.
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” – Matthew 24:37-39
It is commonly taught that the world will be going on as usual and we will get caught off guard. If that is true, why did Jesus waste time laying out examples for us to look at? If we look at who was marrying and giving in marriage in the days of Noah, we find that the only reference is to the sons of God taking and marrying the daughters of men. Notice that Jesus uses the word “they”, which does not seem to be an accident. There are two ways to find out who thy are:
Go back to Matthew 24:36 and look for the “they” mentioned, which are people and angels.
Go to Genesis 6:1-4 and find out who was getting married, which where people and angels.
If the words of Christ aren’t convincing enough, Daniel the prophet also made a similar statement about end time events:
“And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” – Daniel 2:43
Notice that Daniel uses the same word “they”. It is a personal pronoun, which means, in the context of Daniel, “they” are something other than the seed of men. Both Jesus and Daniel make a reference to “they” mingling and marrying in context to the last days. Jesus references the marrying in days of Noah and Daniel references a strange mixing during the end times. If we use Jesus and Daniel as our blueprint, we can explain both UFOs and alien abductions. If the sons of God are indeed angels, then Genesis 6:1-4 has the following in common with alien abduction:
-Heavenly beings abduct women of their choosing.
-Consensual sex, rape, or sexual examination occurs.
-Pregnancies occur and sometimes fetuses are harvested.
If you are reading this for the first time, the hybrids I’m referring to are the Nephilim. If you Google the word, it will give you enough information to figure out exactly what the Hebrews believed the Nephilim to be, which were the giants mentioned in scripture.
For those that don’t believe angels can have sex based on Matthew 22:30, please understand that Lucifer’s angels are NOT angels of God and they are NOT in heaven. That means the rules about “angels marrying and giving in marriage” no longer apply to them. Also notice that is says “do not”, but it does not say “cannot”. Nor does it say that they are incapable of performing a sexual act.
The Antichristian Element To Alien Abduction
Finally, let’s look at something else that puts UFOs and Alien abduction in context. Over and over again, people have reported that “alien” beings have told them that Jesus is just an alien or an ascended master, but not the son of God. They also claim that Jesus was resurrected via technology and not via supernatural means. Why are “they” so concerned with Jesus and what we believe about Him? Paul seemed to have an insight that can only really be understood within the context of these deceptive alien messages:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” – Galatians 1:8
Is this just a general statement or is it a very specific warning? Why would an angel preach another Gospel? Paul also makes another statement that adds a little bit of clarity to his previous words.
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” – 1 Timothy 4:1
Why would people depart from the faith and listen to demons and seducing spirits? What kind of event would cause this falling away? I have written a very in depth article that dissects the above verse.
Does The Bible Contain A Warning About Alien Contact?
If fallen angels showed up and claimed to be fallen angels, very few people would denounce God to follow them because it would be obvious. However, if they showed up PRETENDING to be extraterrestrials, then people have tangible “creators” to believe in, thus negating the need to believe in God, Christ, and the supernatural altogether. It is a very clever and tangible form of deception
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
There are a couple of things to note in 2 Thessalonians which will be important to all Christians. Notice that the falling away (apostasy) has to come first. That means Christians will still be here when this deception takes place. That opens the doors for the Antichrist to come later. Again I ask you, is your church ignoring the elephant in the room? Pastors, are you leaving your flock uninformed, unarmed, and open to one of the greatest deceptions the world has ever seen?
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” – Hosea 4:6
Pastors, don’t let your people be destroyed because they lack knowledge. The job of the church is not to avoid certain subjects because we do not understand them or because they make us uncomfortable. We are to educate and empower the flock so that they will not be caught off guard. How To Help Your Pastor Help You
Getting your pastor to address the subject may be an uphill battle because of church politics or your pastor just not knowing how to address the subject. Here is a short list of ways to bring the topic to their attention:
-Share this article with them (Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.)
-Ask them their opinion on the subject.
-Share statistics with them and then ask their opinion.
-Share information that you heard on Ancient Aliens or another similar show, and tell them you need help clearing up the confusion.
-Find several members of the congregation that also want answers, and approach your pastor as a group.
-If you’ve had a personal experience that you can’t explain, ask them for their advice.
Just a fair warning, most pastors that do not talk about this subject may feel uncomfortable and ask you not to talk about it, or even worse, I’ve heard of people being asked to leave the church simply for asking questions. However you decide to approach the subject, be tactful and respectful, and don’t put them on the spot in during church service or Bible study.
How Can You Help Your Congregation?
For pastors, bringing up this subject may be a little difficult, especially in more traditional churches. Many pastors are afraid of offending their congregation, but it is better to offend some with the truth than to lose some to the secular spin doctors. Here are a few ways that you can introduce the subject to your congregation without getting a negative response.
-Start a ministry website and add a Q&A section where people can ask anything they want.
-Get a drop box and ask them to share their supernatural experiences with you. If you get one about UFOs or aliens, answer it during Bibles study or on your church website.
-During Bible study, ask your attendees if they’ve ever seen Ancient Aliens or similar shows, and then ask them for their opinions.
