Unbelievable: Three-year-old found alive in her coffin in the Philippines

The incredible moment a three-year old woke up during preparations for her own funeraL in the Philippines, is not the first time the deceased have come back to life.

Pronounced dead on Saturday after suffering from a fever, it was only when one of her parents' neighbours opened the lid of the coffin to arrange the girl's remains that she saw her move.

 

Once removed from her casket, in the church in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, she started breathing again and the tot was given water.

 

The young girl was then taken to hospital before returning home with her parents.

In May last year, Brighton Dama Zanthe, 34 died after a long illness in his home in Zimbabwe.

 

The deceased’s boss noticed him moving as he filed past, paying his last respects at the funeral - giving mourners the fright of their lives.

 

Mr Zanthe was taken to hospital at Gweru where he was put on life support for two days.

 

Afterwards he said he had been given another chance.

Alive: A coroner had declared Walter Williams dead after failing to feel a pulse - four hours later he began kicking his feet against the body bag

Walter Williams was pronounced dead by the coroner in Lexington, Mississippi, in February this year.

The 78-year-old was transferred to a funeral home where workers were preparing to embalm his body - but he began kicking his feet against the body bag alerting staff.

The coroner said he had checked Mr Williams’ pulse but found no heartbeat.

He said he suspected his pacemaker had likely stopped for a brief period and then started up again.

 

Mr Williams was rushed back to hospital two weeks later after making the headlines, he passed away at his home.


A 'dead' baby was saved from being cremated when he started crying at a funeral home in November last year.   

      

Authorities in China had issued a death certificate two days earlier for the boy, who was less than one month old.

 

The baby had suffered from congenital respiratory problems since birth and his parents had agreed to end his treatment.

 

But after he showed signs of life at the funeral home in Hefei, in east China's Anhui Province, he was rushed back for emergency care.

A 'dead' boy sat up in his coffin just before his funeral and asked for a glass of water - he then lay back down again lifeless.

 

Kelvin Santos, two, startled grieving relatives only hours after doctors were unable to resuscitate him during treatment for pneumonia.

He apparently smiled, looked round, drank his water then reclined back in his coffin in June 2012.

 

Dad Antonio Santos could not wake Kelvin again and carried him to hospital in Belem, northern Brazil. But doctors were mystified as to what happened and confirmed he was indeed dead.

Attendees at the funeral of a 'dead' Egyptian waiter were stunned when he woke up moments before the burial.

 

 

Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi, 28, from Naga al-Simmanm, near Luxor was declared dead after suffering a heart attack at work in May 2012.

 

As per Islamic tradition, his body had been washed and prepared for burial by relatives convinced he was deceased.

 

But a doctor found Mr al-Nubdi was still warm and when he checked his vital signs, found the 'dead body' was still breathing.

 

She revived him - and then his mother who fainted at the news.

Relatives at the funeral turned it into a party of celebration at Mr al-Nubdi's 'resurrection'.

Kitchen shocker: 95-year-old Li Xiufeng was found back in her kitchen cooking six days after her death

In April last year a 95-year-old Chinese woman called Li Xiufeng terrified neighbours by climbing out of her coffin six days after she 'died'.

 

She was found motionless and not breathing in bed by her neighbour more than a fortnight after tripping and suffering a head injury.

 

Li Xiufeng was kept in a coffin in a neighbour's house, but the day before the funeral she was found back in her kitchen cooking.
